Industrial chic – one of our favourite interior styles here at DYH, emerged when city dwellers began converting old and abandoned factories and warehouses for residential purposes. The characteristics of those venues, with their weathered floor, exposed brickwork, concrete columns and visible iron railings have set the basis of the Industrial Chic interior – now a popular and established style in design.
The raw, quite manly impression of this look comes from the unfinished surfaces and solid wood materials used for the creation of chairs, tables and shelving that accompany this style.
