As an image director of one of the world’s leading fashion brands – DvF, founded by her former mother in law Diane von Furstenberg as well as a founder of her own modern acrylic furniture line, Alexandra Von Furstenberg can definitely infuse any space with ton of artistic vision and creativity.

Her new L.A. home, designed together with fiancée Dax Miller of Dax Design, comprises playful sophistication with balance of forms and colours to create serene setting for the couple’s new life together. In their own words the architectural decisions revolved around the concepts of harmony, stability and serenity – the key principles or Alexandra and Dax’s relationship.

Contemporary and ultra modern, the residence is a fusion of grand space with intimate feel and an artistic spirit that does not overpower the set norms of a comfortable and peaceful home.

This 5 bedroom house spreads over an area of 18,000 square-foot, which angular architectural structure is softened by strategically chosen rounded shapes of furniture and objects. Monumental glass doors open to the striking backyard area with vast swimming pool, one of the all-year round perks of South California living.

The luxurious property also features, what is considered the dream of every woman – an ample clothing closet – home to Alexandra’s fancy fashion belongings. White leather, gleaming glass, polished chrome, this closet room follows the standards of some of the most exquisite boutiques in the world.

The interior is a mixture of classic and contemporary design with the occasional pop of vibrant acrylic pieces, designs by Alexandra Von Furstenberg herself. Bright colours, unusual wall art and vintage finds collectively infuse the living space with the unique and personal life story of its inhabitants. Created to offer maximum living comfort, every room of this splendid residence offers state of the art design and interior furnishing.

The whole construction project lasted three and a half years during which the celebrity couple rethought every square of the living space in order to create their dream home.
